WUSTL transfer process
I've been told that WUSTL has an early-action transfer process. I couldn't find anything about it on their website. They say that they begin accepting applications on May 1, 2010 -- wouldn't that mean that they expect both first and second semester grades before they look at an application? Does anyone know how this works? Thank you.

if you can't find anything about it on their website, look at the application. If you can't find anything on the application, it probably doesn't exist

I'd imagine the admissions staff at WUSTL knows.LuvTheWNBA wrote:no one knows?

Re: WUSTL transfer process
It looks like they dumped the EA program. It used to be right on this page: http://law.wustl.edu/Admissions/index.asp?ID=86
Basically you had a 15 or 30 day (I don't remember exactly) period to apply prior to RD and if you got your application in at that time then you would be considered for EA just based on your fall grades. If you applied after that time, but before the deadline, then it would be RD application.
WUSTL adcomm blows, you wouldn't want to go there anyway.

I got into WUSTL as a transfer. I was EA deferred and accepted after I submitted second semester grades, but they have done away with EA as far as I know.

Re: WUSTL transfer process
I emailed them the other day about this. They got rid of the EA program for transfers. I wonder why...

Re: WUSTL transfer process
I would guess they are getting enough qualified applicants as during the summer and since it is not binding, there probably is not a substantial reason to speculate a consistent performance second semester. Just my thoughts.

I'm currently at WUSTL.. and unless you're prepared to work in a secondary market, don't bother coming here. There are other T20 schools that have stronger alumni networks... hope WUSTL isn't your number 1 choice if that's the case...

I have connections (well, at least a crap ton of ties) to a secondary market out West. I would love to attend WUSTL.OnaWing&aPrayer09 wrote:I'm currently at WUSTL.. and unless you're prepared to work in a secondary market, don't bother coming here. You sound a little down on WUSTL. Care to share a little more?OnaWing&aPrayer09 wrote:I'm currently at WUSTL.. and unless you're prepared to work in a secondary market, don't bother coming here.
