Looked like last year some people "date changed" AGAIN after the first wave of auto admits?

So I guess that leaves a small glimmer of hope for those that changed today.HappyTransfer2012 wrote:Mce252 wrote:Starchinkilt: was there only one wave of EA admits last year?starchinkilt wrote: yup....although this pretty much seals the deal for you guys anyway. everyone who got the password eventually got access. expect the letter on friday/sat.

You're not really shut out. Especially with T2's it's probably important to see a whole year's worth of grades. Do well in this term and you will have a great shot at better schools than Georgetown.

So is it over? 4/20 people speak up... Should we even keep checking the forum/status updater.. or wait for emails?

I got 4/23 and 4/24 updates, but no email today. 4.0 from a t4. Students from my school have been consistently successful in the past in transferring to GULC.

Re: Georgetown EA Applicants
Just read the last few pages of the thread and counted that only about 10 or 11 people have been accepted so far. I'll have to look at last year's thread to see where it went from there. There may still be hope for many of us in the days ahead.
In the mean time, those who have been accepted should be sure to withdraw from GW when they get their official acceptance letter in the mail to open up some spots for those less fortunate.
Congrats to those admitted!

To my 4/20 crew ~
Rock these finals. Get into higher schools that Gtown. Matriculate wherever that is and have an extra 1200 in your wallet. This could be a blessing in disguise! Majority of the people that got in today have ridiculous numbers (congrats to you guys by the way!) and will be receiving admits to higher school as well Im sure (and will likely matriculate there).
See you guys on the other side

Yeah, I was pretty sure that 4/20 was bad when all was said and done. Not to shit on other people's stats, but the group of us wasn't exactly the most prestigious of the crowd. Admittedly, I didn't think I would be in the first group deferred so it's a bit of a shot at my pride, but whatever. Oh well. Gotta kill the next three exams and hope for better than GULC.

Yep. Ah, well - the world makes more sense now. I really didn't have the grades, so I was wondering what in the world was going on. Time to mail that GW check.crossarmant wrote:The 4/20 crowds' hopes:tink1 wrote:This is making me depressed.lnllnl wrote:Time to go home.HappyTransfer2012 wrote:So is it over? 4/20 people speak up... Re: Georgetown EA Applicants
Does anyone remember if there was a second wave (or more) last year in the EA pool? Or do we need to wait until after our second semester to see if we got in or not? I am trying to figure out if there is anything else to expect at this point.

Re: Georgetown EA Applicants
I am fairly sure that there were a few waves, but the way it went this time (with people who changed on any of the days after 4/20 getting in and NO one with 4/20 getting in), I think any 4/20 people are just SOL.Hoping5000 wrote:Does anyone remember if there was a second wave (or more) last year in the EA pool? Re: Georgetown EA Applicants
This cycle seems more reminiscent of the 2010 cycle where first batch folks were largely SOL. Some moved from deferred to acceptance or deferred to wait list. The rest just vanished...likely S O L.TTRansfer wrote:I am fairly sure that there were a few waves, but the way it went this time (with people who changed on any of the days after 4/20 getting in and NO one with 4/20 getting in), I think any 4/20 people are just SOL.Hoping5000 wrote:Does anyone remember if there was a second wave (or more) last year in the EA pool?
