Early!
I don't have mine till next week. I can't imagine taking a final with all this uncertainty.

Think of it this way... rock this semester and you can forget about GULC... Aim higher!

Three questions:
1. Did anyone get updated Friday AND Today?
2. Has anyone not been updated at all?
3. How many days after updates did it take for students to get access to Admitted Students Site?

I read the entire thread from 2011 and there was a far smaller percentage of people with a status change (either on 4/18 and/or 4/20). Let's be honest, roughly 100 out of 600 applicants are accepted according to GULC. With our sample size of say, 40-50 people, nearly everyone has received a status update. What are the chances the successful 1/6 all just happen to be on TLS? At this point, I think we'll know in a day or two when the little envelope arrives (or doesn't).
Hence my trepidation of getting exited. I was originally, but when I saw the stats of the non-updates and then those guys getting updated today... well, it just doesn't look too good for me.
Yeah, my balloon just deflated too.
Well... Hold off on the dejection. I just finished reading though the 2011 EA thread, and it's literally all over the place. I can't make any sense of it, except for this. There were a range of updates, beginning on 4/16, 4/18, 4/20, 4/21. Some people received multiple updates, or some combination thereof. It seems like a large number of people with updates on 4/25 got deferred. If I HAD to guess, I'd say movement at the beginning is better than movement at the end. We really need another week's worth of time to have enough data to say anything else.
Agreed. Last year, some people were 4/18 -> 4/20 -> 4/21. Some were 4/18 -> 4/21. Some were 4/20 -> 4/21. Then people starting getting passwords. Time passed. And finally people were getting 4/25 -> deferment emails.

So is it safe to say... once people start getting passwords, if you do not get one, you probably were not accepted?

From last year's thread, I think you have a good chance of making it into the PT program. I think last year when this happened, they ended up getting into PT.

His update makes me think everyone updated today is in. Why would one be and no one else?

I don't think we can say that for sure. But it certainly looks like that to me.

I think that's a good sign. Are you currently FT or PT?

OK, having looked at gc's stats - top 25 and a 3.7+, why would GULC limit gc to part time? Those are pretty high stats at a well-ranked school to rule out FT so early.

Good point, but then why would they have changed it in the first place?

So are we all suddenly thinking the 4/20 change was a bad thing now? Or that ANY change is good... 4/20 or 4/23... it just shows movement?

I speculate that 4/20 is bad, but there are reasons to believe that both changes are good, also. So we are still at square one.
