I figured I should only have a 9-5 nervousness window. Lame.

If it makes you feel better, my email came at 4:42 EDT. I just didn't read it until later because of a rare surge of discipline that had me working instead of alternating between this thread, my email, and my status checker.Fishmouse wrote:After 5 emails.... Yes, a few minutes ago. If I am the first rejection in the entire batch, then that's really embarrassing. Ha.ms2010 wrote:Did you just get an e-mail? Now I'm nervous...DeliciousCake wrote:Ding from Penn. Oh well. BU here I come!

Good luck....you have great stats. Seriously. Keep holding out. It's still early.

It'd be a dream to get into Penn. I have a feeling my stats are going to get me into schools not worth moving to, but not into ones that are worth it.DeliciousCake wrote:Yes, a few minutes ago. My Georgetown status checker updated to today, but still just says "Application completed." Deferred EA, Georgetown undergrad. Now I'm terrified (and clearly being very dramatic haha). Anyone else?

Has there always been a "class deposit" line for Chicago's status checker?

Yes. I was wondering who did the write on. I figure you have good chances of making it if you get in, since I assume most applicants don't do the write on.eattrucks wrote:I was just about to ask the same thing. I did the write on at H (boy did it suck doing two of those). I haven't heard anything, but I hope that even if I don't get on (which, let's be honest . . .) that the law review folks will somehow notify the Adcomms and then they will be all "Hey, this guy is serious enough about coming here to suffer through seven days of retardation, maybe we should let him in." (pardon my run on sentence and excessive parentheticals)Fishmouse wrote:Did any harvard admits apply to the law review?
I wonder if people hear back from hlr before they have to decide

It requires:
1) Immense risk of wasting your time
2) Immense confidence that your grades will stay the same/improve from 1st semester
3) Immense confidence that THAT will be good enough to get in to HLS
4) Great time management skills to do a random write-on
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
