T14 Transfer Status Change Thread Forum

A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

If it makes you feel better, my email came at 4:42 EDT. I just didn't read it until later because of a rare surge of discipline that had me working instead of alternating between this thread, my email, and my status checker.

It'd be a dream to get into Penn. I have a feeling my stats are going to get me into schools not worth moving to, but not into ones that are worth it.

My Georgetown status checker updated to today, but still just says "Application completed." Deferred EA, Georgetown undergrad. Now I'm terrified (and clearly being very dramatic haha). Anyone else?

This is one of the weirdest systems I have ever heard of...

It requires:
1) Immense risk of wasting your time
2) Immense confidence that your grades will stay the same/improve from 1st semester
3) Immense confidence that THAT will be good enough to get in to HLS
4) Great time management skills to do a random write-on
