Based on your stats it's probably good news. I just went UR 3 today so it seems the decisions should be out soon.

Haha I called yesterday and asked a lot of questions. Basically I was told that from your first UR date, it should be about one to two weeks. That was the most specific they'd get, so not really helpful for anyone who went UR in June.

I don't even know what UR I am because I had given up that they'd ever put my checklist as complete. It was a good two weeks after everything was sent.

Based on last year's thread, it's going to be a fun week or two of waiting...

If that is your third, I definitely saw a pattern of an acceptance two days later.

Somebody should call and ask when is the earliest a decision could be made so I can stop being so unproductive until that date.

I just don't understand how NYU can go through 3-4 reviews and then still sit on the application. That's what makes it such an anxiety inducing school.

I'm under review as of 7/5 but my college questionnaire is outstanding...is this similar to Columbia where I'm complete yet boxes are unticked? Thanks!

I'd give admissions a call to be sure.

Lurker here. I'm in the same boat - UR 1 7/2, UR 2 7/5, still no college questionnaire. I called admissions on Monday to ask about it, and they said they're still processing a lot of mail from the past few weeks, but that it will appear checked immediately after it's processed. They also told me that anything they get via fax or email is processed faster, so I had my undergrad resend via fax because I was worried about it.

For those of us who have not had any UR updates since late June...safe to assume that we are on some kind of de facto waitlist?

I don't think there is anything certain this year. It seems to me, from comments and because they take forever to email back, as if their application volume increased this year. So, I wouldn't count yourself out just yet.

Hopefully Chicago accepts a big class. From what I have read, a lot of Chicago people forego NYU in this situation.

I don't see why it's such a hard process to increase my debt by 170,000. Just give me that acceptance.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
