I just got off the phone and was told they're planning on releasing decisions mid-August...that's got to be incorrect, right? Or at least that's the latest we would hear back? That gives barely a week to find an apartment before their OCI program starts.

That's gotta be the end date-I can't imagine they'd fill a class easily that late

So, when you call they give you a long message about how they can't tell you anything over the phone. Is that just a trap for the unwary - should I wait on hold and try to talk to somebody anyway? Getting very nervous that my certifications/transcripts are still supposedly missing, when my undergrad/law school registrars said they sent them weeks ago. Anybody having luck outside just emailing and hoping for the best?

Oh, and another question - is anybody's transcript showing up as not received, even though LSAC says they did receive it? That should have been sent to columbia along with the rest of the LSAC app, right?

Yeah stay on hold, they were able to tell me my status over the phone. And yes, my transcript still shows up as not received even though my application status is complete, and someone on the phone verified that they did indeed have my transcript.

Anyone else doing the journal competition without an acceptance yet? It starts today.

Also, has anyone actually been accepted yet? Or denied?

I heard the writing competition shouldn't be too hard. I'm going to do it - i havent received the materials yet, have you?

Also, checking in: TTT/4%, rec'd complete email last night - they received all my materials yesterday, no status change today obviously

Called admissions this morning, they will be rolling out decisions around 7.15. Based on past threads the first rounds of decisions tend to be acceptances.

Still not complete under status checker but they did confirm they received all my material. It doesn't seem like they started reviewing mine yet, so fingers crossed.

Looking at last year's thread, they e-mailed Counselor a .pdf of the acceptance letter.

Can someone correct me if I'm wrong, but last year apps were due earlier, right? Like June 15 or something! Please do correct me if I'm wrong, I can't go through last year's thread at the moment.

T20 around 10%, but school doesn't do cutoffs beyond quartiles so I'm just guessing. I'm not sure when I went complete, I didn't create a status checker account, I just logged in using the name, lsac number thing. It might have been around early to mid June.
