URM at lower t14, top 5%. Horrible undergrad GPA (closer to 3.0 than 3.5) and no softs to write home about. what would you say my admissions odds are?

I submitted on June 1 (online) and the application status checker has nothing listed under the "requirements" part where it has headers for "item" and "status". Is that normal?

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

Haha, very true. Strong competition. But it is Harvard.

Nope, I'm just comfortable predicting top 10% with a 3.9x gpa, based on all prior years' cutoffs.
Haha, with a 3.9x you're looking closer to top 2 or 3%

Perhaps, but I don't know if we will ever find out those percentiles(?)
The registrar emails the top 5% to tell them their whole number percentile, and encouraging them to clerk.

Any predictions on where in the class you'd need to be at Penn to have a shot?

Checking in! > 4.0 from T1 (30s). My school doesn't rank but told us ~3.7 was top 10%, so not sure exactly where I am in the class. Good luck to everyone!!
