A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

Any thoughts as to whether it's a good or bad sign to get an interview request? I don't think it's bad because they're definitely interested in you to the extent that they would take the time to interview you... is it a bad sign if you don't get asked?

I had an interview on Tuesday, and was accepted on Wednesday. I think the interview is a great sign. Dean Post will ask you about your reasons for wanting to transfer to Penn. You should also develop some insightful questions to ask her at the conclusion of your interview. Good luck.

This waiting is brutal. My productivity at work is pretty much 0.

I think that Penn has a deposit deadline coming up tomorrow, so hopefully some more news comes out friday or early next week

Sorry about the rejections, guys.

Anyone planning to attend though? I got accepted two weeks ago and I decided to go. I also have been living in Philadelphia for the past five years so if you have any questions about the area, I'd love to help.
