Hahaha I know. I don't mean to be a huge jerk but I would like to know if there have been rejections. Could anyone answer that?K.R.I.T. wrote:Does WUSTL reject any transfer app? I feel so... dirty.

Re: 2011 Transfer Cycle
T2 (60's) 3.4, 17% East coast, from Midwest.
Minnesota: Accepted via phone May 12th (that was suprising and nice to know so early)
Wisconsin: Application complete last week. (needed both sem. grades.)
I'm a Wisconsin resident and could pay cheap ($<19k/yr) tuition AND not take the bar if I went to WI (assuming I get in, and graduate) but is it worth passing up on MN?? Looking for opinions.
Indifferent towards where I would work ultimately.
thanks!

Re: 2011 Transfer Cycle
Finally got some news today...still anxiously awaiting all the other schools:
top 9% TTTT, Law Review (I was PT so I was actually on law review for a year)
Northwestern - Complete (6/28)
Loyola - IN (7/12)
DePaul - Complete
Emory - Complete (7/1)
UGA - Rejected (7/8)
Georgia State - Complete (7/5)
Really hoping to hear from Emory soon. Pretty sure Northwestern is a long shot.

Re: 2011 Transfer Cycle
WI and MN are peer schools 100%. In state tuition + diploma privilege are no-brainers.rshervey wrote:T2 (60's) 3.4, 17% East coast, from Midwest.

Penn was my absolute top choice. Tip for next years applicants: Apply broader than I did/ throw in a safety or prepare to stress out the entire summer. Transfer admission is truly unpredictable and seems to be getting more competitive with ITE.

T2... top 10%... VA Resident
UVA - Rejected
GULC - Waitlisted (Withdrew)
Penn - Rejected
Alabama - Accepted with $ (Withdrew)
Villanova - Accepted (Withdrew)
Boston College - Accepted (Withdrew)
Notre Dame - Accepted (ATTENDING and very excited about it)
I can honestly say its hard spending so much money on applications (again) but it is worth it, especially during the transfer process where anything can happen. I would say my cycle went as most would have predicted, but now I will never second-guess/wonder.
Very excited and grateful to be attending Notre Dame in the Fall... good luck everyone.
