YIKES!
On the bright side I found out I earned another CALI. Hopefully that will push me over the top. Good luck to everyone!

My last letter of recommendation went in around the first week of June. I had requested it around the 15-20th of April. Sorry to hear about your late letter. Make sure you keep in touch with the professor in case they forgot about it (but do not bug him/her).

Last year, first round of acceptances were via the phone before the 20th I think. Kind of scary when you think about it. I will be picking up all 510 area code numbers that call me the next few weeks, unless I absolutely cannot afford to (ex. in court with judge). Then again, maybe they will just email us.

It's not my letter. Although i had a late letter for my Chicago ed application.
I'm still waiting on a grade.

Oh. I guess that makes more sense.

Do any other T10 schools notify this early, or should I expect to wait til July for everyone else?

I've heard Berkeley is fast and early. Probably by design. They force you to make some rather quick decisions.

Do you know when they require you to make a decision by if you're accepted?

Last grade makes me complete.
Top 9%, lower T1. I don't like my chances, but we shall see.

Nope. The board would light up if someone did.

It's also a gorgeous Friday afternoon here in the Bay Area. I doubt we'll see anything today.
Next week, then?

Nope, no call from 510 area code. I was hoping to get one all afternoon. Seriously, I was barely productive most of the day.

Bad news / good news to report.
First the bad news, a friend of mine was accepted by Berkeley today.
Now the good news, this person will likely be attending a school even more highly ranked than Berkeley - think straight A's from a mid T1.

Yes, I am very curious. Suprising that only one person on this site knows anyone who was accepted. Oh well, I will be patient and hope I get a call next week.

I actually don't know if it was phone/email. It was a short text message that I got last evening, so I'll have to get back to you.
In any case, this person is probably going to Stanford with their numbers. Since no one else reported any action, I would assume that Berkeley still has the bulk of their work ahead of them.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
