So what if you haven’t heard anything from Northwestern by today? Is that considered a denial? (FWIW T3-4/1xx;Top 2%)

One of my friends got into GULC one week before classes started last year. Generally, I think you're still under consideration until the 1st week of classes.

I mean, do those tweet mean ALL decisions or ALL acceptances? I don't even care anymore, I am just confused. Send out the rejections already, ya know?

It sounds like all decisions are going out today.stinger35 wrote:I mean, do those tweet mean ALL decisions or ALL acceptances? I don't even care anymore, I am just confused. Send out the rejections already, ya know?
This is in reference to transfer decisions...
"@dilzzilla Yes, today the remainder of the decisions will go out. Thanks for your patience and good luck!"
right?

I know. That's the one I was referring to. And I don't have a decision. So clearly it's not accurate.

Re: Northwestern 2010 Transfer Cycle
Rejected via email. I figured as much. Time to kick in the networking and continue to move up in the class.
GOAL: Top 5% (currently Top 9%)
Also already have a lunch set up w/ attorney alumni at a big law firm. I will need to bloom where I'm planted.
If you did get in, good luck and congrats! If not, continue to kick ass where you're at!
Adios!

SAME! Holy Crap... I'm thinking waitlist... but I'll take it.... dare I speak....
Or maybe they're sending out e-mails a batch full at a time. I've been complete since 6/28. A girl at my current law schol who went to Northwestern for under grad got accepted during the first batch. I know a ton of people pulled when they found out that they got into Penn or put down the deposit at GLUC and decided not to...
Northwestern is in county where I went to high school.. we had our high school graduation there. It would be so nice to be closer to home....

No biggie I just thought it was funny not to hear someone just say Chicago. Just FYI in case you don't know, the law school is downtown right by the Hancock, not Evanston.

Just a Reminder: Northwestern's deposit for transfers is due on the 21st. I'm presuming we'll hear news Wednesday-Friday of this week.

Re: Northwestern 2010 Transfer Cycle
Thanks for the reminder. Paying mine with my CC tomorrow. Anyone know if there's a benefit to paying with Amex? Do you think the buyers insurance included with Amex covers this? lol. One time my dog ate my $500 polo suit, and I sent it to Amex for a full refund (sorry for the Amex plug). I wonder if I could send in my NU acceptance to Amex saying I didn't like it anymore? lol. $1000 limit per incident. (FYI, this is insurance benefit, not a merchant dispute).
