Im at a T30s school and am top 4% of my class. Does this really make me an auto-admit? I am treading cautiously about this!

Still under review. I'm taking that as a ding. Top 5% at a T50.

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
This makes me feel a little better, as I have to imagine that a top 3-4% at a T25 would be an auto-admit. (Right?)kings84_wr wrote:If it makes you feel any better A'nold Im still under review as wellA'nold wrote:Still under review. Congrats guys.![]()

That would be absolutely retarded if you didn't get in EA. Maybe yield protection? You are Berkeley on up man.kings84_wr wrote:If it makes you feel any better A'nold Im still under review as wellA'nold wrote:Still under review. Congrats guys.![]()

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
Does yield protection even matter for transfer admissions? I'd think that someone who is 3-4% at a T25 would be someone Georgetown would want to admit to prevent him from going to HYSCCN. This might be just to make myself feel better, but I am hoping this means decisions haven't been concluded yet.A'nold wrote:That would be absolutely retarded if you didn't get in EA. Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
Maybe they are working through individually? Wishful thinking on my part...
Bottom line, we aren't really going to know much until those who went to Decision Rendered find out exactly what the Decision is. (Obviously its probably admitted, meaning we won't know much until another wave goes out)
Those who did go DR ---> PLEASE keep us updated about your status

Perhaps they're reviewing based on when you submitted your application? I submitted close to the 3/15 deadline.kings84_wr wrote:I think its possible they only reviewd a portion of apps as of now.

Could be, I went complete rather late, like a week or two after the deadline, although they said I was officially complete on the 15th.t14orelse wrote:Perhaps they're reviewing based on when you submitted your application? Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
Hmmm this round of DR's is rather inconclusive. I was complete relatively early so that could have led to an early DR for me. My stats were solid (Top 5%+ at a T2) but not necessarily auto-admit

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
Are those DR'd all FT? or is it a mix of FT/PT?

I'm still under review, but my date is 4/20 so perhaps they haven't gotten to everyone yet.
