A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

Hopefully I get an acceptance from NYU/CLS/HLS within the next couple of weeks so I can tell GULC I won't be matriculating and one of you waitlisted folks can get in!

I'm sorry to hear that brorepresentation1. Thank you for sharing, now we know not everyone was waitlisted. I mean the next deposit is due by tomorrow so hopefully this week there will be movement and more of us will get acceptances. Can someone call tomorrow to ask how many people are on the waitlist? Nose goes not it! :mrgreen: ............. On another note, I just checked my online status checker. On Friday (6/20/2014) my status checker date, updated from 6/6 to 6/20/2014. Did anyone else's do something similar?

The email said the wait list is not ranked. Idk if they pull a lot or not, finger crossed they do.

I imagine they have to pull a ton from the wait list since they force you to pay 1200 in 2 weeks..doubt too many ppl feel comfortable being strong armed into a decision like that

Not necessarily. There are plenty of folks in my position. Accepted at GULC, but waiting to hear back from preferred schools. GULC is the back-up if the other schools don't admit. I paid the deposits, though begrudgingly.

Long time lurker here. I'm top 20% at a TTT school. Waitlisted on June 20th as well. I gave them a deadline of early August in my email, because I would really like to participate in oci.
