no posts after 11 am today?
I'm thinking of just withdrawing tomorrow. This is ridiculous. Just accept or reject me.

Re: NYU Transfers
Does anyone know how EIW works at this stage for a transfer? For instance, I believe at this point at Columbia a transfer would miss out on getting interviews (though I am not positive about that). Does anyone know if there is a deadline for NYU or if there is a similar policy at NYU? Thanks.

Re: NYU Transfers
From what I heard, you can do EIW at NYU as long as you're admitted at least a week before EIW starts. I don't remember where I read/heard this, so please correct me if I'm wrong.
And yes, I believe that CLS transfers would only get OCI scraps at this point.

Re: NYU Transfers
I read what you wrote on CLS' website. Idk if it means you get "scraps," but I'm sure they have some solution to convince you to attend. As far as NYU, I'm not sure how it works. I would imagine an admit would get to do OCI one way or another.PrayingforHYS wrote:From what I heard, you can do EIW at NYU as long as you're admitted at least a week before EIW starts. Re: NYU Transfers
For those asking about EIW:
ALL transfers get a full and fair opportunity to bid on all firms. A proportional number of interview slots are held over with EVERY employer, and transfers have their own bidding process that will yield just as many screeners as continuing students will get. You are at absolutely no disadvantage coming into EIW.

I'd say that means you're getting in, especially at a NYC T2. My cycle = epic fail. lolbball2089 wrote:UR 7/6 --> 7/16 --> 7/30.

6/28 - 7/2 - 7/10 - 7/30
Hard to say what this means. I guess if nothing else it means there are people alive over in that office.
Dinged at CLS over the weekend, so this is my last shot.

20% at MPV. I realize it makes me kinda douchey switching from good school to good school, but my fiance is in NY and just got a super job, and two more years of long distance is too many.canesfan1986 wrote:What are your stats?casedown wrote:6/28 - 7/2 - 7/10 - 7/30

LOL awesome man. I appreciate the concern. It's not douchey man. Trust me, I understand exactly the position you're in. With that being said, you had better marry her forever! lol jkcasedown wrote:20% at MPV. Still UR 7/12. Since I'm already going to Chicago I might as well withdraw but some part of me needs the decision.

I can't believe that being #1 at a 50-75 T2 isn't enough to get me one damned acceptance. What the hell?

Re: NYU Transfers
I applied to H, CLS, NYU, and Penn. I got into GULC EA and was rejected from U Chi ED. I'm not counting those two though.RodneyBoonfield wrote:Thats insane. Where all have you applied? I was denied at H and Penn, which decided that taking someone in my section who was top 5% was a better idea because he went there for UG, another WTF moment for me.
I'm waiting on CLS and NYU, fully expecting to be the first person ever in my position to strike out completely (I withdrew from GULC because my T2 gave me a full ride, so the cost benefit didn't make sense anymore).
