Not sure how many of us (who actually post) are still waiting, but if you're curious, the nice lady on the phone had no guess at all as to when there will be movement.

Well, that's good, at least. I'm expecting no notification, ever.canesfan1986 wrote:Excellent. I'll be expecting my call later today. It would be awesome if we got it at the end of 2L year.TatteredDignity wrote:Well, that's good, at least. I'm expecting no notification, ever.canesfan1986 wrote:Excellent. I was actually just thinking that they may roll us over into regular admissions for class of 2016.canesfan1986 wrote:It would be awesome if we got it at the end of 2L year.TatteredDignity wrote:Well, that's good, at least. Re: Harvard 2012
lol. I'd start over at H. You'd think it would be a hell of an advantage to have done it once.

Re: Harvard 2012
I'm pretty sure I would start over at H. As transfers, we're pretty much shut out of the coolest stuff (SCOTUS, etc.). Might as well take a shot.
I would pay a good sum of money to know how many of us are left on their de facto waitlist, and whether they'll admit us in a certain order.

For sure. Hell, I think we invented a new program. In lieu of the LSAT, do a year of LS somewhere, and then start over at H! lolTatteredDignity wrote:I'm pretty sure I would start over at H. As transfers, we're pretty much shut out of the coolest stuff (SCOTUS, etc.). Might as well take a shot.

Just a splash of optimism, I know of transfers who got feeder clerkships and one transfer at Yale who has a good shot of getting the SCOTUS clerkship.

I haven't been dinged yet either (by anyone, actually), and I'm surprised given how late we are in the cycle. Maybe it takes them more time to process rejections than I thought, and it just isn't a very high priority for them now that they have their incoming xfer class.

Unfortunately, probably this. I'm living my life right now as though there will be no transfer.transferquestion123 wrote:I haven't been dinged yet either (by anyone, actually), and I'm surprised given how late we are in the cycle. I have to think we'll hear very soon one way or the other, though, at least for H. The postmarked deadline for deposits was the 18th. We're now 5 business days removed from that. Presumably they know what order they'll take people in when/if spots open up. I believe they'll pull the trigger this week.

I haven't been rejected either, and I don't think I'm going to be. I think I'm getting in this week. I listened to the theme song from Rudy and watched the scene where he gets accepted to notre dame. Im just like Rudy.

Aint no line of people with their jerseys walking into the admissions office saying, "Let Slobberson take my spot, coach."Slobberson wrote:I haven't been rejected either, and I don't think I'm going to be. I hope you're right, but someone also said that H requires withdrawals in writing. This doesn't mean they wont act on a withdrawal before admitting anyone, but I bet they will just because they can.TatteredDignity wrote: I have to think we'll hear very soon one way or the other, though, at least for H. ETA: I also want my ding from Y, damn it.

No worries, I'm deep into Columbia OCI at this point anyway. It was fun waiting it out with you guys.
