T14 Transfer Status Change Thread Forum

A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

"By July 15 Application must be complete. All decisions on files completed earlier will be sent, though you may receive a decision much earlier."

Don't people think this means that all Penn decisions will be made by the 15th as long as you are under review now?

It's not like they're making potentially life-altering decisions that could uproot our lives in a matter of weeks. By all means, they should relax and take their time.

That's ridiculous. That's pretty much why I didn't bother applying to Chicago. I don't think it's yield protect - probably just very few spots open.
