School Rank 60-70
Based on the past 3 years of GPA distributions, This should put me at between 1-5 ranked in a class of 130.

Any thoughts? I'm most curious about % chance of getting into ED @ chicago or RD @ Chicago.

Going to apply as soon as application becomes available.

I think you look decent for ED @ Chicago. That GPA is astounding. Well done. With that said, you may be able to do better but then you run the risk of your GPA decreasing if you wait. I would ED there if you think Chicago would be good for you.

But I am risk averse and wouldn't want to bet on grades staying the same from semester to semester.

I think you're pretty close to being *in* at Georgetown if you ED (non-binding, as well). Look solid for the mid-lower T14s, too, if you keep the grades up.

Dear 1Ls, please stop asking for chances with only one semester of grades. Unless you're asking about EA/ED chances, you need to wait until you have a full year of grades before you can get any meaningful advice.

Hello!

- 2nd year part time student at USD (rank #66)
- GPA is 3.71 (rank 17/266, roughly top 6%)
- Applying to USC, UCLA, Berkeley. I want to apply to GULC but I'll have 39 units completed after Spring and their website states it only accept transfers with 36 or less units. Has anyone been able to negotiate with the school and get accepted despite exceeding their unit limit?
- Is NYU worth a shot?

Any insight is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Hey all...I would really appreciate any input

School: 40-50
Class Rank: Top 15%

Chances at Duke, UNC, Berkeley, and Vandy?

Got into UNC originally but declined offer due to financial reasons...now have strong personal reasons to be in the Chapel Hill/Durham area, not sure how this would impact anything?

Thank you for any help

TT, 3.5 (3.0 curve), school doesn't rank.

Vandy
Emory
GW (EA)
BC
BU
UNC
Wake Forest
Richmond

UNC undergrad and strong ties to NC.

50-75% Emory
50-75% Wake
Lock at Richmond (why would you TT > TT?)

UNC is hard to gauge. They LOVE NC residents who are wanting to transfer in from an out of state school, i.e. Top 5% (NC resident) student at Richmond. If you're at a TT in NC, they specifically say on their website that they don't like taking from other NC Law schools (Wake says this too but doesn't seem to follow their own policy).

How could we give input when we have no idea where you want to transfer?

You would be out at all T14s. 50% shot at GW EA.

Near 0% chance at Chicago ED.

50% chance at GULC EA

85% chance at GW EA (not T14, but a higher up EA).
