Why GULC? Seems like your employment opportunities would be pretty solid, no?

Mostly for geographic preferences, I'd like to work in NY (close to family) and cant get that from where I am

Again, not to be mean or anything, but a top 10% in T4 likely wouldn't get in over a top 2% at a T1. Just would seem really weird. And most all of the non-changers have better stats than the changers. Just seems like it would end up going that way due to those factors.

The only (and relatively irrational) thing I can think of is GULC thinks we have acceptances into GW and want sto poach us quickly -- while thinking that the higher ups don't give a shit about GW and won't apply there anyway.

But I think that that line of thinking is, more or less, a pipe dream.

Well - while I expect that this status update is a bad thing. I looked back at least years thread and this is what I came up with.

Possible Timeline:

It looks like the Admiss Office is 3 days behind where they were last year, if the updates actually mean anything.

It is possible that some people might get an update to Under Review over this weekend, but that will likely happen on Monday/Tuesday.

Probably get some Decision Reached, status updates by Wednesday-Friday.

Then if you can get on to the admitted students website (assuming that they havent fixed this) you got in. Generally it took 3 days after going DR to be able to get on the site.

We're also an absurdly small sample size. As someone said, they get like 600 transfer applications for EA & RD, yet there are like 15 of us splitting hairs. Let's not forget that it's 15 of us (out of probably over 150 applicants) on an online law school forum, we're obviously a very skewed sample. I mean, the first wave of changes last year meant they got in, same with the year before that. I still have hope for everyone.

Was that the trend for both years? I know last year that they got one update (18th) and the 2nd shortly after (20th).

What was the year before?
