It sucks. Every...single...page. Moreover, I have 5 essay finals this semester...one every other day for a week and a half.quiver wrote:Ah I see, not as radical as I was expecting. Property, Crim. Law, Leg Reg, Lawyering, and LWR is this semester.
Leg reg is alright...its basically just an intro into all the other classes which focus around the statutes rather than case law...
Lawyering is a skills course which is interesting. We have simulations that we are graded on and then a final exam which we prep for...so its almost open book?Wow. Torts, Civ Pro, Property, and Contracts are all full year? Then they throw in Crim second semester?!? That's gotta be a hefty workload.maf70 wrote:First semester: Torts, Civ Pro (jurisdiction), Property, Contracts, LRW

I also had an elective this semester, but I didn't get into any of the classes that I actually wanted to take. I'm in a very heavy theory class that I strongly dislike instead, but at least it is a paper course.

Out of curiousity, do you know if your status checker followed the pattern that was mentioned by some posters where it went from original date 'Completed' to listing April 18th "Completed" and then April 20th "Completed"?starchinkilt wrote:I got access to the admitted students website!
Sorry if you were one who posted about that already; I don't want to go through the entire thread to check, but I'm interested to see if you are aware whether it held true for you.

Yeah, application stayed as Completed but the date changed from the 18th to the 20th.Lawquacious wrote:Out of curiousity, do you know if your status checker followed the pattern that was mentioned by some posters where it went from original date 'Completed' to listing April 18th "Completed" and then April 20th "Completed"?starchinkilt wrote:I got access to the admitted students website!

Re: Georgetown EA 2011 Thread
Cool thx. I'll prob be checking for that next couple weeks. I expect a deferral with my stats, but am hoping maybe family legacy could give me a bit of a boost. I'm def not expecting acceptance, but would be thrilled if it happens.starchinkilt wrote:Yeah, application stayed as Completed but the date changed from the 18th to the 20th.Lawquacious wrote:Out of curiousity, do you know if your status checker followed the pattern that was mentioned by some posters where it went from original date 'Completed' to listing April 18th "Completed" and then April 20th "Completed"?starchinkilt wrote:I got access to the admitted students website!

Still sitting at "application complete - 3/16"
Keep trying to tell myself that hitting refresh 10x/hour will not make anything happen any sooner, but I can't help it!
Congrats to those who are in! Hope the rest of us find out something soon..

Out of curiosity, did any of the people who have access to the admitted students website apply pt or both? Or are any of you in a pt program at your current school?

Has anyone else been updated from 4/18 to 4/20 that is not able to access the AS website? I'm really hoping for a computer glitch instead of the alternative...
