yes, i have mine! After I deposited, mine went into my Gmail "Promotions" folder-- so I'd look around your inbox + spam. They sent it almost immediately after my deposit went through.

Accepted yesterday (July 10) via email in mid-morning. Declined the same day-- I'm going to NYU!
Best of luck! Top 30 school, 3.733 (top ~10%), went complete sometime in mid-June.

Re: Columbia Transfer 2020
I emailed them today because my lease is up in 2 weeks and I need to figure! things! out! They said my app is still under "Active consideration" and a final decision hasn't been rendered, then gave me the typical "decisions come out in July and August" response.JustBrowsingThanks wrote: ↑Fri Jul 17, 2020 11:54 amWhere tf is columbia? Re: Columbia Transfer 2020
Should I be worried if I still haven't heard back from Columbia? Went complete 07/01. My stats are top 5% at a T3. GPA 3.83.

Not sure what you mean by haven't heard back. Did they send you a "your application is complete" email?
If they have, then a lot of people have not heard back yet as well. There was a huge ding wave on Friday, then silence. Not sure if there have been any acceptances recently.

Any admits know how many people have been admitted so far (groupMe, FB, etc)?
Also, anyone else still waiting for a decision?

Re: Columbia Transfer 2020
I am still waiting...
Was just accepted to GULC (off the waitlist) and emailed Columbia hoping for some sort of guidance, honestly just getting rejected would have made things easier. Response was: "Your application is still under active consideration, and a final decision has not yet been rendered. Transfer applicants can expect an admissions decision in the month of August. Beyond that, we cannot provide a more specific timeline."
3.91, School doesn't rank, NYC t3/t4 (CUNY). I made clear in my essay I was focused on public interest. I don't expect to be admitted after getting rejected from NYU, but it is interesting that I'm still alive after others have been dinged by CLS.
Georgetown wants a decision by August 10... would really just like a decision from Columbia by then.

Re: Columbia Transfer 2020
I’m transferring in to CLS. There were 49 transfer students on the Zoom orientation yesterday.
FWIW, they were very particular about recording the orientation — indicating either (a) there are other incoming transfers out there that couldn’t make the session (i.e., the real number is higher than 49); or more optimistically, (b) they intend to make at least a few more transfer offers and want to have a video recording of orientation ready for them.

Just got dinged. Emailing did seem to speed the process even though the said they couldn't give a more definitive timeline.humanoidNY wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2020 2:37 pmI am still waiting...
