NYU is the worst.

The college questionnaire box is not checked.

Undergrad says they sent it 3 weeks ago (after I requested).

NYU won't check for me, basically saying there are a few weeks delay.

The process is seriously stressing me out.

They reviewed mine without my undergrad transcript--then 2 days later it was checked off. Think their status checker is just wonky.

Last year, the last of my paperwork was sent ca. Jul. 8-9. As of Jul. 10 they still hadn't received everything and I think passing the 15th deadline I still didn't have all of my boxes checked, just based on what I can glean from my inbox. I remember kind of thinking "oh well, guess this probably isn't happening." And then they called on the 16th offering me admission.

I think just do your best to make sure your materials are all en route to them so they would arrive well in advance of the deadline...and then just hang in there / follow up if it's getting close. Decisions will be in a few weeks. It's probably also a good idea to document in some way to them that your materials are on the way if it's cutting it close, just in case. For now, there's plenty of time so I wouldn't worry.

When I called them they told me that the only thing they need to move your file to the review pile is your law school transcript. The college questionnaire and transcript they can do without for the time being and if they do offer you admission they will need it at some point but they said it wouldn't delay review.

THE HEADACHE CONTINUES.

NYU says my college didnt respond to the academic probation section. I call my college, and they say they dont disclose ANY info regarding that stuff, despite the fact I have a clean record. NYU says they need it. College says nope. Here I am in the middle of a bureaucratic nightmare.

Whats worse is that I have a deadline to commit to another school, and will probably be forced to accept before I even get word from NYU.

Wow, no wonder they say the transfer process is more stressful. Wishing you luck. Which other school are you contemplating on committing to? And does NYU typically render decisions mid to late July?

Does anyone know what the whole deal with the expedited decision is? I saw in the 2015 forum that some people requested it. As an international student I have to take care of the visa issues and don't think I could wait until longer than mid July.

I've been UR for 2 weeks. This is my 3rd time going UR.

I sent mine in like 3 weeks ago and just went under review.

All boxes checked. But still "Application being processed", date: 6/14. Is this normal?

They were supposedly missing my Dean's Certification, Law School Transcript, College Questionnaire, and my Undergraduate Transcript until yesterday morning when my law school registrar called and NYU miraculously found all of it and added it to the status checker. XD

They're still missing my Undergrad Transcript, but it is such a pain in the butt to send and last time it cost me like $24.00 to overnight it through the ordering service. Is it worth it to call in the hopes that they'll just find it?

I called today because my College Questionnaire and Transcripts have still not arrived, but my file is UR as of the 24th of June. They said they can make a decision without these two form and then I would just have to add them later. He also said usually decisions are made 2-3 weeks after your file goes under review.

I had a UR date change on 6/27, and now another today (6/29). This makes it UR4 I think. Anyone else update today; anyone have any thoughts on movement?

I'm still U/R 6/22. Not sure if that's a good sign or bad.
