Should we just go 1L school OCI as if we weren't gonna transfer? If so, what should we do if we end up getting in at NW? Not trying to be shady and double dip, but can't risk missing out on 1L school OCI if not accepted at NW.
DM if necessary.
If you haven't been accepted and your home-school has begun the OCI process, I think you NEED to participate in it. As you said, you can't bank on getting in. It's not shady if you aren't certainly attending, whereas it would be if you were trying to participate in both. But there is no harm in or anything unethical about being
prepared for both.
That was my thought process. Next step - if I were to get in, how do I play that? Many of the employers from my 1L school are the same as at NW (albeit not nearly as many - aka why i want to transfer in the first place). Do I withdraw my application from 1L OCI and re-bid at NW?
Again, any advice would be great.

Last year the dates were:
June 30
July 2
July 9
July 10
July 23
I just have a feeling they're later this year; and they will probably be closed on Friday
So why wouldnt they have some come out tomorrow even if they are closed on Friday?
Years where they came out later it seemed that they had issues with the online status checker.

Not to be negative, but I highly doubt today is the day (obviously hope I am completely wrong).
And no nothing to base it off of, just my gut.

If all else fails, just keep an eye on Johann's (@tweetsbyjohann) twitter. He seems to tweet whenever decisions are going out. No Tweet = No Decisions today.

I don't want to be persuaded by goldgirl's negative gut, but I fear its naysaying prophecy may be correct. I hope for better, though.

TT top 13% checking in. Probably no shot, but maybe the smart kids will all get into H and CCN and leave me some bread crumbs

If decisions go out today, they will likely come out sometime later this evening closer to 5/6pm CDT

Are they still doing interviews? If I haven't received an offer to interview yet, is this a bad sign?

When did you apply? I believe all candidates get interviews

I can attest for myself and others that this isn't true. A few of us seemed very competitive for NW and had interviews elsewhere but we're not granted interviews.
Anecdotally, ranged were from Top 10-25% at T-25s, some with SA's
Maybe NW is doing something different this year

Possibly, I have some friends who were extremely competitive and still got interviews, so I'm not sure about not interviewing auto-admits. On the other hand, I don't consider myself extremely competitive for NU but I still got an interview. If I was to guess, they will probably send you a request soon, they are just currently processing a lot of applications.

Would be interesting to have a poll to see how many people didn't get interviews vs those that did

Those who did get interviews, when did you go complete? Just trying to gauge the time frame between complete to interview request

I received an interview request about 2 days after my app went complete. Does anyone know how any apps they get in a given transfer cycle?

Maybe they are waiting for their first round of invites to go out first?

My stats are:
Midwest T3
Top 6%
3.80 GPA
5 years WE At top accounting firm
Summer SA role at top local firm
I did get into GULC EA.
I will say that I do think that they are giving interviews to every candidate that applied. Your should be getting an e-mail soon. I had my interview yesterday and the officer said that we can expect decisions at some point in the month of July. Sounds like they have a lot of applications to go through.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
