6.
After April 1, except under binding early decision plans, every applicant should be free to accept a new offer from a law school even though a scholarship has been accepted, a deposit has been paid, or a commitment has been made to another school. To provide applicants with an uncoerced choice among various law schools, no excessive nonrefundable deposit should be required solely to maintain a place in the class.

Just went under review, after being on hold since the end of May. So they're obviously still working over there. But this late in the day, it might be a sign that decisions won't be coming until next week.

got accepted to U of C 2 hours after committing to Berkeley. Giving myself until Mon to really decide. Looked at stats, profiles, etc, but just looking to see what similarly situated people think. Any info/commentary is welcome.

Depends on where you wanna practice. Berkeley has edge in Cali probably. Both schools do well in NYC i'm guessing. Dat berkeley climate is hard to beat though hahalrubbish wrote:got accepted to U of C 2 hours after committing to Berkeley. Giving myself until Mon to really decide. Thanks, JuniperCreekEsq! I hope the all admitted folks enjoy Hyde Park.
I'm tending toward moving on, though -- held applicants still hadn't heard anything august 1st last year, and there are no posts about admissions after that.
