I think I'm U/R? It says "Application Ready for Review." It's been saying that for at least a week, before all my stuff was in, but of course there's no requirements list so I have no clue if they have everything.

I'm top 10% at a T30, 2 CALIs, law review, strong rec letters, 5 years Fortune 500 WE and URM (to the extent that the last three matter). Any point in applying? I had my school send a Dean's Cert last week just in case, but not sure if I'd be wasting the ap fee.

conventional wisdom says top 5% needed. however, if you can spare the change, why wonder what if?

Harvard actively looks for work experience in its transfers. I would put in an application, and if not Columbia will take you. I would also pm Vanwinkle, he would be able to tell you more about this.

"Application Ready for Review" as well, but I am under the impression they have all of my stuff. It changed from "received" today.

TYVM for this. I PM'd Vanwinkle last night, but it doesn't look like he's been active on the board in month. Hopefully he sees this in the next couple days :?

Do you know if Harvard will review apps without a dean's certificate from my law school? My numbers should be really competitive for Harvard transfer, but I'm pretty sure my Dean's Cert. won't get there until way past the deadline.

I was accepted at Berkeley but also applied to Harvard and Stanford, so I'm in the same boat. Stanford informed me that they won't review my application until receiving the dean's certification despite the deadline for a decision imposed by Berkeley. Unless anyone has already spoken to Harvard about this situation, I'm going to give their admissions office a call today.

Well my application went "Ready for review" before my transcripts OR Dean's Certs were received, so I think so. They don't have a requirements list so I have no idea if they're missing anything. Are people calling to check on specific elements? I figured I'd just let them call me if something was missing for conditional acceptance because there's no way I'm getting in, but that's just me speculating.

App is due today. As for a timeline, looks like the first decision didn't come until July 6th last year.

Edited because of my poor research skills.

Welp, applications just closed. I am right on the borderline grades wise, so to everyone else in that situation, best of luck, and hope we'll all be celebrating in Cambridge come August!

FYI, I've been calling in due to issues with my application. I have been told that decisions come out next week.

Think there's any point in writing H to let them know my NYU deposit deadline in July 8?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
