For you Harvard applicants, did it take awhile for your app to get updated from "application received"? They've had mine for a week, but my status checker doesn't list what materials they've received, what's missing, etc.

For you Harvard applicants, did it take awhile for your app to get updated from "application received"? They've had mine for a week, but my status checker doesn't list what materials they've received, what's missing, etc.

Took me six days from submission to go to "Application Ready for Review." Maybe more apps are coming in as the deadline approaches so it's taking a bit longer?

The requirement list never materializes, so you won't know what they do and don't have.

I called to make sure my UG/LS sent the Dean's forms and was told to email them at the general admissions office email address and they would get back to me. I did that, and 2 days later I got an email back telling me they received all my forms. Still at Application Received myself though since 6/22.

Georgetown only took 61 transfers last year?

Columbia took 78?!

These are 2010 numbers. Columbia took far fewer last year (~40?). Something about higher yield percentage from the 1Ls, not sure. Search the threads from last year.

The basic info provided about # of transfers is accurate. It is 2010 data and gives the same #'s as LSAC school info does. However, the inferences drawn in that article are in contradiction with a lot of what I have heard...particularly about the success of Columbia transfers aiming for biglaw.

I looked back through some of the posts from last year and it seemed like everyone sat at "ready for review" until decisions came out. Did I misinterpret those posts?

Chicago app still says Under Review, but date changed to today's date...

Submitted LSAC app on 6/28 at like 6AM. Put in Dean's letter, transcript, etc about two weeks prior.

Columbia (LSAC file hasn't been matched up with Dean's letter and transcript)
