Re: USC Early Decision Transfer Program
Weird, mine just updated to 2nd committee read today (4/27).
It went right from Complete to 2nd read. I never got a first read?
(unless of course the first read took place in the 4 hour window that I took a break from compulsively checking my status)
Is a 2nd committee read a good or bad thing? Oh God, commencing panic mode.

That's weird that it never went to a first read! Maybe they forgot to update your status during the first read or something. I wish I knew if 2nd committee read was good or bad...keep us posted? I'm still on 1st read.
This is all very stressful...back to rule against perpetuities, I guess.

Has anyone applied that has not seen any movement at all? I'm just wondering if they are even trying to get decisions out by tomorrow.

Re: USC Early Decision Transfer Program
Still on first committee read as of right now. I've been checking seemingly every 20 minutes. This is really starting to affect my studying for finals. Do you think that if they give us a decision, will it be via e-mail? I mean, they did say we would find out by May 1. I know that they said that all decisions would be made through postal mail... but I've been checking the admission forums for the incoming 1Ls and some of them have received decisions through e-mails.Mce252 wrote:Has anyone applied that has not seen any movement at all? I wonder if they can tell that I check my status every 30 minutes or so? lol.
Seriously wish they would get around to telling us! I'd like to know before I have to do the law review write-on for my current school...

Re: USC Early Decision Transfer Program
I just got off the phone with admissions, and was told that all decisions will be made within 48 hours. However, not sure how reliable this is as she also said that we would be notified via email, which contradicts what the website says. Good luck, everyone.

Same. If they've finalized their decision on me and they're going to notify us via email, they should just send the dumb email at the same time.Mce252 wrote:Status changed to "Decision Finalized"
