Yes, they have had everything for a long time - but GW does not require LORs, so I think I am ok. One of my LORs is my prof who is an alumnus.Mce252 wrote:opX wrote:my profs sent it in last week, I am still waiting for LSAC to update >.<

late march would be nice.
would we get notice via the status check?
Are your letter of good standing and transcripts already there? You're cutting it close.

Re: George Washington Early Action Waiting Thread
i believe they are doing exactly that. they want to snatch some GULC people, and make money.crossarmant wrote:So, from their assessment of giving us answers by late March, and Georgetown not giving answers until mid-February, does anyone feel like they're purposely jumping up decision schedule to get seat-deposits before people hear from GULC? I mean, if they send out decisions March 20th or something and give you a month to deposit, that deposit window will close just before people start hearing from GULC. Not that I'm complaining too much, god knows I don't really stand a chance of getting GULC EA but hey...

Do we have to be complete by March 1 or app received by March 1 - anyone know? My app is in and I have the status checker e-mail. No sign on the checker of my transcript or letter of good standing, both of which were mailed last week.
At least it's a leap year, right? I've never been so relieved to have an extra day before March.

I was told that they don't give complete status through the online checker. You should call and ask. I would guess that your application likely needs to be complete before March 1st.Lawst wrote:Do we have to be complete by March 1 or app received by March 1 - anyone know? waiting sucks.
0L's waiting for your LSAT score is only the beginning.

So GW Admin said they never got my law school transcript from LSAC. LSAC says they sent it. What should I do? Have my school send GW my transcript directly?

Tried. School wouldn't let me. It'll get there by Friday apparently. I'll just have to deal.

Re: George Washington Early Action Waiting Thread
GW's website specifically said to begin with: "A transcript of the applicant’s law school record sent directly from the school to the Law School Admissions Office." I mean, if you miss out on EA, there's always room in RD.TNFSkier16 wrote:So GW Admin said they never got my law school transcript from LSAC. LSAC says they sent it. What should I do? The Admin office decided to use my LSAC transcript. So I'm complete now.

Re: George Washington Early Action Waiting Thread
I'm still not showing as complete on the status checker and it's starting to make me nervous. I called on either the 28th or 29th to make sure they had my transcripts and letter of good standing, and the woman with whom I spoke said they had them.
Anyone else still showing as "received" instead of "completed"?
