Who is doing the volunteer community service events? There are two. For those that don't know what I'm talking about, check your school e-mails. It's for transfer students to volunteer together and get to know each other before school starts.

Also, what classes did everyone pre-register for? For first semester, I pre-registered for Tax I, Corporations, Employment Law, and one seminar. They'll also sign us up for Con Law. If it's too many credits, I might end up dropping the seminar or something. For second semester, I pre-registered for Tax II, Securities, and some other stuff I can't remember. Anyone else really happy with the diversity of classes and number of options to pick from? I'm getting excited...

Habitat for Humanity

Requested Classes

Fall:
Admin Law
Legislation
Federal Money
Con Law II
I think if I get on a journal there is a 1 credit for that

Spring:
Corporations
Environmental Law
Natural Resources Law
Con Law seminar
Transfer Crim Pro

Probably do Tax I and Tax II third year, along with Federal Courts, professional responsibility, some other corporate/secured transactions what have yous and what nots. NOT taking evidence because it's not required and I'll just learn what I need to during a barbri class for the bar.

Ah, I forgot. I actually did sign up for Evidence and Criminal Procedure in the spring.

I've been debating which service project to do... They might run out of spots by the time I decide.

Isn't evidence required to do any of the clinics?

Possibly, but I did my clinical experience this summer at a state circuit court and a prosecutor's office. The hope is to be on a journal so that I have no spare time during the semester for clinical programs and have something set up after EIW or mass mailings for next summer. But that could all change.

I don't know how long the normal write-ons have to accept/deny the offers. Since they were offered on Friday, I would guess their allotted acceptance time plus a weekend. So, If they had a week to accept, I would guess we would find out next week. How many EIW interviews did you all get? I only got 9 but I only bid DC firms. On the bright side, all the firms I got bids with have multiple offices and only give one interview.

I got 18 interviews. However, a few of those are in some strange and out of the way areas.

Does anyone still need a place to live? Current occupants are 2 girls and 1 guy. The empty room is next to the girls' rooms. So, the person moving in should be a girl. The place is walking distance from the Law Center. PM me for details.

Journal of International Law here.

How did you like that 3pm email telling us that there would be a 5pm email that selections would be posted? Those two hours did not go by quickly...

Yeah, a little ridiculous. I imagine it kept away an influx of emails (for two hours) before the results were posted.
