Any updates here? I never did get a status checker or real confirmation that I was complete.

Really just wondering if anymore acceptances have been going out.

I'd e-mail someone in admissions, if I were you. I did, and they were able to tell me exactly when my file went under review.

Got into U of M today via email. That $1200 deposit I gave to Georgetown would have been useful Fingers crossed for Harvard...

The way I found out was weird. Sent them an e-mail on Monday asking if I was complete and they said that it looked like I was from a glance but to ask in a few days. I sent them an e-mail this afternoon and they said that not only was I complete, but I was accepted as well! When I called my dad minutes later he said that there was a package at my house from UofM and it had the acceptance letter and the other goodies. Kind of a strange way to crack the Top 10 but I'll take it...lol!

I think I'm gonna call tomorrow just to make sure; it still hasn't sunk in and I'm the paranoid type. In the back of my mind, I really believe that this is an elaborate prank by my gf - right down to faking the Michigan letterhead.

Lulz, that's how I did Duke and they promptly rejected me like 2 days later. I don't think I'll ask Michigan anything, haha. Maybe they'll forget about my file and I'll be the last transfer applicant in August and they'll have one extra spot....."oh crap, we have one slot left, look at this A'nold idiot, we should let him in for teh lulz!" I'll take it.

Thanks for the congrats all and congrats to everyone who got in! It is very likely that I'll be attending Mich in the fall - I'm a Mich alum and it's always been my dream to go there.

There were two from my school last year who transferred, one did very well with four offers I believe, and one ended up with just one offer. That said, both had more interviews than they would have had at my old school so it was a plus in the end.

No problem, I'll def get more interviews there too, and the guy I talked to who ended up with one offer just said to temper your expectations and be smart about what firms you choose to apply to as a transfer going into 2L. I think we will be fine, are you going for sure Mister?

I am still waiting to hear back from a couple schools, and I am terrified of taking on about 3 times the amount of money I would be at my current school, but I think it is likely.
