A girl at my school just did, too. But I'm not assuming that she heard this week, necessarily.
I think we're finished. Awfully coincidental for this to happen to both of us.

Yep. Was your person ranked higher or lower than you?

Don't know. Different section, big school that doesn't rank. I do know he was from MA though.

I see.

I thought transfer admissions were supposed to be a numbers game. The only thing I can think of this point is that my terrible UGPA is hurting me.

Dear rising 2Ls,

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the summer.

Thank you very much for taking the Law Review writing competition this year. We received a huge number of entries that reflected a great deal of effort and creativity.

After a difficult grading process, we have selected a new class of editors. I am very sorry to inform you that we are unable to offer you an editorial position on the Review.

This year's competition was both difficult and competitive; having finished it is a great achievement. Thanks again for your investment in this process, and I look forward to seeing many of you on campus in a few short months.

All the best,
Conor

Possibly. I am in the same boat (3.11). H does say on the website they take kids who would have been close to admits the first time around.

I messaged the kid on FB and it turns out he got in on the 6th, so I suppose we can all get our hopes up again for no reason! Yay!

i really don't understand how the ding schedule works, and i wonder how many people are still waiting in the wings. i would think they'd keep a pool in reserve until yale sends out its admissions, but then again, they could also have just made a few offers above their target transfer class size expecting some attrition. hopefully this will all be decided early next week.

Anyone dare to call and ask when decisions may be coming?

If you have contact with him, would you mind asking him how/if he was able to participate in OCI if he was admitted past the bidding deadline?
