Hey all,

I was wondering if someone could chance me since I finally have all my grades in.

School: 50s
GPA: 3.67 (no rank yet but top 20% last year was 3.4-3.7)
Honors: Two CALIs, Moot Court winner, Mock Trial winner
Applying: Fordham, NYU, Columbia, Penn, GTown, GW

That was the top 20%. It's a small school so the top 20% equals about the top 25-30 kids.

I'd say strong shot at all of the schools listed - Boalt may be a stretch, but worth the app.

It's remarkable how much more competitive transferring has become since ITE kicked off.

A ton of these people getting KO'd by GULC and others would have been shoe-ins a few years back.

I'd say you are in at Fordham, Gtown, and GW - and you have a shot at NYU and Columbia (20-30%) with a slightly better shot at Pen (25-35%).

UGA -- Being reviewed by the Admissions Board. I know being part-time will probably hinder my admissions here, but coming from a family of UGA fans, had to at least try.
Georgia State -- Complete and ready for review; I got priority waitlisted here during last year's general admissions cycle so I'm hoping that will help.

What do y'all think my chances are?

I'd say you definately have the grades - and the in-state will work in your favor. The issue is how much will being a part time student hurt you? I do not know.

That's just silly. Nothing is "no doubt" in transfers. Obviously, graped has a good shot everywhere, but my understanding is that he/she hasn't applied yet, which is a negative at all schools, if correct. Also, the consensus seems to be that UChi is taking a very small number of transfers this year, a handful of which have already been admitted.
