They gave you a username and password for the admitted students website...that's like getting the golden ticket to the chocolate factory and it's just not that special day yet.

What it may mean is that the batches aren't divided into "1) auto admit, 2) 50/50" etc

Congrats on those with the username/PW... that's how I found out last year that I was accepted. It took me a few days, however, to get into the site.

The letter comes about a week later via snail mail in a big white envelope, with the acceptance letter, and some information about clinics. Or that's how it happened last year. And it has a sheet asking you to pay $800.

It seems like there really wasn't much of a second wave last year and almost everyone who got in was an auto-admit...

That's always been my guess...lol.

I've been hoping for a deferral this entire time...but wanted to apply ED/EA in order to demonstrate my interest in GTown...at least on some level...

It definitely won't be 50/50. There were a few people that made it the second batch, but it seemed like most peopel received an email on the Tuesday of the second week saying they were deferred.

My completed app date changed from 4/18 to 4/20 today, but I don't have a username/password for admitted students site. I almost hate to even throw this info in the mix because the speculation is causing me an ulcer...
