A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

In just now. I can't believe it....I was literally two hours away from depositing at NYU. What should I do??? I'd hate to start a dreaded NYU vs Columbia thread.

negligble difference. nyu transfers are cooler than cls transfers and its a more chill enviornment

long term name recognition esp. out of NY / US for CLS but it's basically the same shit. dat ivy preftige though. NYU ppl are happier tho

i'd take CLS but i'm a masochist and wanted to go to cls since i knew i wanted to go to lawl school.

let us know what you choose.

cls> nyu everyday of the week but there are legitimate reasons to take Nyu over CLS and many people do it everyyear and end up at the same firm/job/happiness level.

there is something to say about cultures though and i haven't found 1 person who says CLS is a better culture than NYU.
