Still "application ready for review" as well, is this a sign for optimism?

Still alive--

And with regard to optimism, the vast majority of Red Sox fans are inherently optimistic; they will never forget the miraculous comeback against the Yankees in 2004.

We are still in the ballgame. Thus, we can--and should--remain optimistic.

Quick Question... those that were dinged today, what date was your "application ready for review?" Mine is 7/3, and I have a feeling that I should expect a ding this afternoon since they're probably going in order of dates application was ready for review.

Stats: Top 4ish%; School ranked in 60s. (It's such a long shot, which is why I'm not sure why I haven't received a ding yet if not for my U/R date being later than others on here).

Applicants with late UR dates have already been accepted and dinged. It's possible your theory is still correct in a greater overall sense, but I believe every app has likely already been seen once.

Was there an intermediate "Current Status" between "Application Ready for Review" and "Decision Reached"? Or does it go directly from Ready for Review to Decision Reached?

My application was ready for review 7/8 and i'm still alive. I doubt the review dates mean anything, though..

AFAIK, admits have gone straight from "Ready..." to "Admitted" and dings to "Decision Rendered."

So I finally got the admit packet and it was so disappointing! No folder? Just an advertisement book? No actual details on orientation, health insurance, the gym, housing, course selection, clinics, journals, student orgs, moot court? No actual information at all? I mean I know we have an internet, but come on, that's half the fun.

TTTT, man.

For what it's worth, I did laugh because the Columbia acceptance letter is just that--a letter. One page.
