There are so many assumptions in this. It's possible the could just email you if you are rejected, but might reserve actual snail mail for acceptances. No one else has a Decision Letter Sent status, so we have no clue what it means. Also, the pattern so far is that the initial wave of decisions are mostly acceptances, and thereafter a mix of acceptances/rejections/and waitlists.
Also, I'm still UR from 6/24!
C'mon people, today's the day!
I'm a sandbagger by nature

In the back of my mind, I'm thinking the same tentatively positive things, but I could never bring myself to think anything but the worst unless I have an acceptance in my hand. I just don't like getting my hopes up.

When did you harvard admits submit your apps, or go complete. My app says ready for review. Did yours ever update from that?

Congrats! NU is AWESOME! How did you find out?
Should I be concerned that I don't have a status checker yet (even though I applied mid-June)? Did you get a status checker.
P.S.: I know that I am complete at NU because I called them.

got an email. i got the status checker via email two days ago, and submitted on the deadline (7/1). as long as you're complete i wouldn't worry about it - my checker doesn't say accepted or anything. might as well email them and ask for it though.

I applied last week, the 29th I think. I'm not sure whether I went under review - I turned "ready for review" on the 5th.

So 3 admits to HLS so far. Is it fair to assume that harvard doesn't only admit one batch? If so there usnt much to infer from today's admits as they all applied very late. If I had to guess I'd say the first thing they did was to pick out the ~1% people from t25 schools and then get to the more ambiguous cases later on (top 5% t18, 10% t10' 15% ccn)
