I think it will be. With the exception of earlier this week, movement has traditionally come on Friday. Just put me out of my misery, Harvard.baplntf wrote:Let today be the day.

Every time I'm tempted to think "well, at least I haven't been rejected yet," I remember that nobody has been rejected yet.

Sorry to hear that pballer.
But that would be pretty hilarious if it did say "Congratulations!" And then be like denied.
Horrible too

Yeah, I think people were saying it said "HLS - Congratulations" (I remember because I neurotically searched my spam folder, just in case). Either way though, rough.pballer wrote:nono, it said "Harvard Law School - Decision Notification," which I thought I remembered being the subject line for acceptances. Apparently I'm mistaken
What is your status otherwise?

Re: Harvard 2012
Hmm. Interesting theory, but if you're right, I'm probably screwed too (3.1 UGPA), so I hope you're wrong! I suspect they are just looking to fill certain characteristics that don't show up in the numbers, and in addition to these factors lying beyond our perception, they probably change from year to year depending on the make up of the class. Hence, the infamous "black box."pballer wrote:haha thanks. GL to you too. I will say that given that I'm the only reported ding so far it could easily be due to my undergrad stats. I graduated with a 2.4 UGPA, and I can see how Harvard might care about that more than other schools might.
I think everyone who applied was competitive, so who the hell knows their reasoning. I am sure you'll get in to one of CCN, but I know it sucks waiting to find out. Good luck the rest of the way!

Man, I have to say the expectation of an impending ding email is way worse than the anticipation of an acceptance. I'm sure I'll be joining you guys soon.grok123 wrote:Ding via email just now.
