Re: GULC RD Transfer Thread 2015
Looking at the H and CCN threads makes me think we're pretty much done for. Maybe one or two slots open up, but looks like there is at least 10 people on left on the WL. Chances are slim at best. Still, I'll stay on because I'm going to a DC school anyway.

Same. A spot or two might open they said. So that means a maximum of two of us will get in? Great!

Left on the wait list. This is happening to me at another school, and I'm calling it the "soft ding," as this is effectively a ding until its not.Wouldliketotransfer2 wrote:droopy999 wrote:got the soft ding. Decent enough not to be rejected, but not good enough to be accepted.

To the current WLers not at GW or WCL... Are you guys signing leases for apartments at your current schools, registering for classes, and paying your bill there, etc?

I don't have a lease to sign so I could pick up and leave if the opportunity happensTTtop13pct wrote:To the current WLers not at GW or WCL... Are you guys signing leases for apartments at your current schools, registering for classes, and paying your bill there, etc?

I hate to be negative but I doubt any of us will get in. It does seem like the class is full. I'm even on the waitlist for both part time and full time which you would think will give me more chances but nope.
Would any of you consider transferring in the spring?

If you have less than 35 credits which is the maximum you could apply for spring admission as well.

I haven't received an email from GULC acknowledging that I replied to yesterday's email. Anyone else in that same boat?

Re: GULC RD Transfer Thread 2015
GULC did this to a friend of mine last year: GULC sent my friend a continued interest letter and asked if he was still willing to attend. He said yes, and GULC made it seem as though he would attend. When it came time for orientation and registration, they ignored all of his emails and phone calls. I watched them string him along all summer.
