NYU Transfer Waiting Thread 2014 Forum

A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

autoadmits are essentially ppl who have no shot at being denied... ie toothbrush's stats were so superior that there was no way NYU would say no

Congratulations :) Let us know if you get an email with tracking info or housing or something that indicates an official acceptance (although I don't doubt that DLS = accepted).

Thanks toothbrush and zoom! As of 9:30am when I woke up. And I'll keep the thread updated, if it's an acceptance I can give hope to those without super stats (NYU's known for having a bit of a soft spot), and if it's an early rejection then there's still plenty of spots open for the second/later wave people.
