Thanks for the info. I've read the thread. It's just one of my other friends received a housing email and also a UPS tracking confirmation email before she even checked her status checker. Wasn't sure what to make of the absence of those emails.

i didnt get the tracking until end of biz and housing 2 days later.

I actually did get an acceptance email, but my status checker hasn't been updated to reflect that yet. Technically still "under review."

(This is why people shouldn't believe everything they read on TLS...)

I feel your pain. I was updated 3 days in a row, only to watch all my fellow "same-daters" receive admissions while my application idled in a state of obscurity.

I think the last UR is random across the board...one pattern I did notice, though, is how many of you had spaces of 1 day or a weekend between each of your URs versus those of you who had URs 3 days in a row, maybe with a weekend in between 2 of them?

My URs were Friday, Monday, Wednesday.

Edit: also, has everyone had 3 URs?

UR 7/12 (first and only UR...so far) All boxes checked 7/9.

I would add, I reviewed last year's thread, and seems NYU was trickling out acceptances well into the beginning of Aug. This isn't to say that this will most certainly happen this year though.

Good question. From what I have gathered reading last year's thread, NYU doesn't really ding until the very end of the transfer cycle. Your second question...hard to say.

Idk. There is a google doc in last year's forum and there seemed to be a lot of activity for both dings and acceptances around 7/17. I can't speak to the accuracy of that but it does seem that NYU is putting off rejections this year for some reason.

I have a feeling there will be little activity this week because of the impending deposit deadline Friday. Next week should be busier, but it is going to be a long long long weekend thinking about it.
