Penn: July 9- July 27
Nyu: July 5- august 8
Columbia: July 8- July 29
Harvard: July 12- august 3
Yale: July 18- July 22

Any idea about Stanford and Chicago?

Anyone know when Northwestern starts accepting transfers. Also, I never received a status checker from Northwestern but called them so I know that I am complete. Anyone else have this experience?

NYU just changed to "Under Review" with the date listed as July 1. This wouldn't be the first time. It said under review late on June, but went back to processing. Hopefully it sticks this time. Been complete there for over 3 weeks, so I'm hoping by next week to know.

Columbia - They have all items, but the status is "completion pending"

NU admissions has its own twitter feed. They used it last year to say, not only if they were sending acceptances that day, but also if they intended to send more.

You can look at last years thread for more info. However, last year acceptences began coming out the 5th. The first round of acceptances were people who would most likely get into better schools. T30 5%. Later, when deposits wouldn't be paid, they would send out more.

So this is slightly off topic but I didn't want to start a new thread.

I got my $800 Georgetown deadline pushed back to Wednesday 7/6, and I'm Under Review at Penn (updated 6/24 then 6/30) and NYU (6/24). I really think that this is the week we start to see a lot of activity. Obviously if I get into one of the 4 schools remaining, I can safely decline at Georgetown.

1) Is it appropriate to email or call the schools that I'm under review and tell them that I'm hoping for an acceptance before my deposit is due at GTown? 2) If so, exactly how to phrase this?

From last year's dates, Penn/NYU decisions didn't come out until way later in the month.

Did they also start reviewing around the same time (end of June)? I was hoping it wouldn't take more than another week or so to hear from them...

So I emailed NYU yesterday but didn't get a response. Was thinking of giving Penn a call. But of course I don't want to damage my candidacy....

Well, since today's the day, i gotta decide: just eat the $800 Gtown deposit, or just go all-in with HCNP and just stay at my T2 if i don't get one of them.

While everyone's financial situations are different... I think you eat it if you will 100% go to GTown over your T2.

I think last year Chicago was sending out decisions around the 14th or the 15th. But don't quote me on that.

My guess is that first batches of NYU and UPenn decisions will come out this Friday.

I sent in my law school dean certification about a month ago and my application is still incomplete according to their website. I called them today and they rather impatiently remarked that everything is still being processed and that I would get an email, hopefully some time this week indicating whether my application is complete or whether there are other materials that are still outstanding.

My Penn also updated to today, and I agree I think it most likely just means our file was pulled by someone else... but who knows, any idea how Penn informs acceptances/rejections?

My Penn status updated to today as well. When I applied the first time, I just saw my decision in the status checker, and that was that.
