You guys just put a perma smile on my face! My entire family is now reading this thread in the living room of my mom's house. They are in disbelief that so many people I've never met irl have been so supportive. I would lie if I said I did not actually get choked up. You all have no idea how much this means to me.

Special thanks to mega for all of the support all along and for creating this thread that seemed destined for failure until the very, very end.

Solidsnake: YES! My wife and I (before I learned of my rank drop 2nd semester) were almost 100% committed to attending UW over schools like Vandy and GULC and maybe even Duke b/c UW might as well be a top 6 school for my home city and state.

Little known secret: Back in my more naive pre-UG days, I chose my UG school mostly b/c it sent more grads to UW Law than any other school in the country. That is how much this school means to me.

Once again, you guys are absolutely incredible. This is why I hope to post as long as TLS will have me. It's all about the community and the support we all give each other.

Yeah, my wife is the most supportive wife I've ever seen. She and I are like the ultimate team, this acceptance meaning just as much to her as it means to me. We were willing to eat thousands in apartment costs to do this, and she immediately said "we're gone" when we got the call. We were moved out of the apartment the next day (note that we had not unpacked everything just in case...haha).

Cool thing that got overshadowed by the UW news: I picked up my award for my brief yesterday and I got this really awesome plaque, a cash award, and some other stuff. It was pretty awesome.

Sitting at orientation with a few other TLSers. I remark out loud (was surfing the internet on my phone like the cool dude I am) "Hey! ahnold just got into UW!"

We all burst out into cheers, yelled "YES!!!" and actually high fived, haha.
