Congrats to all the admits!
Would you all mind also posting the dates your app went complete along with the good news? It would really help the rest of us nervous Nellies relax a bit.

Re: Columbia Transfer 2016
CLS and NYU seem to be releasing them earlier this year and on a rolling basis
Looks like the transfer game has officially hit the same level of competition as 1L admissions, forcing schools to react quicker than releasing them in batches

My app didn't go complete until the 20th - some Dean's Appraisal forms went missing somewhere along the way. Then, accepted today!

Are you sure about this? I was under the impression that they did accept transcripts from LSACNebby wrote:You have to have the transcripts sent from your school to CLSEncyclopediaOrange wrote:Columbia accepts LSAC transcripts right? Re: Columbia Transfer 2016
Who cares. You should have had them sent directly from your school to them anyway to ensure they got there as fast as possible, rather than have the sent to LSAC and wait for them to process. Time is valuable!Phillies1234 wrote:Are you sure about this? Yeah, you need to send your transcripts directly to Columbia. Fine print on their instructions... same with those Dean's appraisal forms. Took me a while to realize I needed them from each degree granting institution.

TRANSCRIPTS
All applicants are to register for the LSAC Credential Assembly Service (CAS) in order for us to access undergraduate and/or prior graduate degree transcripts. For more information about the CAS, please call (215)968-1001 or visit http://www.lsac.org. Applicants may submit their current law school transcripts either through the CAS (preferred) or directly from their school’s registrar’s office.

Application Submitted: 6.15
Application Complete: 6.27
Acceptance Email: 7.1
Don't know if it made a difference at all but I emailed admissions last night about getting onto Law Review at my school and got the acceptance email this morning haha.
As for transcripts, I asked our registrar to send one to Columbia directly, and also sent a transcript to LSAC to send to Columbia --> One two punch
Good luck to everyone still waiting! Does anyone know if there's a group for Columbia transfer admits? Thinking I'm gonna need to start housing hunt right now (unless that HLS acceptance comes..jks probably not)

Is anyone else having trouble with Columbia actually receiving Dean's Certs? Is there just a huge backlog? I've sent multiple hard copies and unofficial email copies and they still say they haven't gotten them...

Re: Columbia Transfer 2016
I am. Transcripts too. I've sent at least two of each in multiple forms and they say they haven't received mine either. At first I chalked it up to the fact that I sent them to them before I actually got my application in, but now I'm not sure what happened to them.EncyclopediaOrange wrote:Is anyone else having trouble with Columbia actually receiving Dean's Certs? FedEx assures me they actually delivered them. So, it is either a backlog, or they just don't update that status checker all that often.

Re: Columbia Transfer 2016
Samesies. I've sent it to them three times and they still haven't received my dean cert from undergrad. Yesterday, I asked that my registrar email them a copy and send another. 4th time's the charm?EncyclopediaOrange wrote:Is anyone else having trouble with Columbia actually receiving Dean's Certs?
