Re: Northwestern Transfer
Hey all hopeful Northwestern transfers:
Does everyone have the following at the top of their status page: "Your application is now complete and is being reviewed by the Admissions Committee."
Strangely, I do but my current status indicates simply: "Application Complete"
However, there are no documents listed in my requirements. The exception is all my letters of recommendation are listed. This is unusual for a status page. But I have e-mailed them enough so I no longer want to hound them any longer lol.
Any similar experience? Comments or feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Regards.

The waiting game in limbo. FYI I did speak to a lady from the Admissions office last week. Couple points and statements she made and these are all obviously paraphrased.Irish92 wrote:Congrats! No such luck here, mine went complete today and haven't heard anything
(1) NW did not receive as many transfer applications as the 2015 cycle.
(2) Some applicants, like me, had a technical glitch with Interview Question 1. She advised the interview responses should not adversely impact anyone's application, beyond one making no sense in their responses obviously.
Is anyone aware when all final decisions are to be rendered by? I am hoping there is no waitlist based on my situation and location.
Thanks all.

Re: Northwestern Transfer
Hi All,
I'm just reaching out to see if anyone else has heard back from Northwestern regarding a transfer. I was admitted into my second choice and the acceptance deadline is fast approaching. I know that previous posts have said decisions go out in early July, but it sounds like a few have already been accepted.
Thanks!

Re: Northwestern Transfer
No status update on my checker, still under review by the admissions committee. I believe next week they should should definitely start notifying of decisions. Transfer process is definitely more stressful. I May just be heading to D.C. unless a miracle happens.

Got into NU last Friday. Turned down GULC.
Currently, into Texas and Vanderbilt, trying to decide. Leaning towards NU b/c I want to do transactional work.

I really thought about applying to Vandy too but too far out of my region in the Northeast. When are the respective seat deposits due for NWU and Vandy? Good problems to have man! Congrats.westcoast8690 wrote:Got into NU last Friday. Turned down GULC.

I'm holding out hope for today... does the status checker change or anything before a decision is made?
Also for those of you who have been accepted, would you mind sharing stats? Would love to have a better gauge of my chances...

If I remember correctly, the admissions lady who responded to my email told me that the first round of acceptances come out at the beginning of July. So there will be more to come. Keep your hopes up!Anonymous User wrote:Sigh, my hope dwindles as the days go on without hearing from them.
