Re: NYU Transfer 2016
I applied relatively early last year - around June 20 - but didn't hear back until July 22. So I think there's a lot of variation.

Decided to submit apps for all schools pursuant to June 15 Deadline haha. Hoping for some early submission luck?

Re: NYU Transfer 2016
Just in case anyone was wondering, NYU does NOT accept e-transcripts. I had to send them another transcript (3rd time). This time, I'm sending it via FedEx. Hopefully, that doesn't lead to any issues.

Slightly salty re: Submit a resume, but also use LSAC's terrible platform to enter all of the same information on your resume.

When did you submit your materials? I'm a little pissed that I'm still incomplete despite sending my materials over a month ago.jd1220 wrote:Under Review 6/20 as well

In the same boat. Had last of my materials submitted three weeks ago, and that was a law school transcript.fistfullofdollhairs wrote:When did you submit your materials? I'm a little pissed that I'm still incomplete despite sending my materials over a month ago.jd1220 wrote:Under Review 6/20 as well

Everything shows as received for me except for my official transcript, which I know was sent a few weeks ago. Thinking about going ahead and sending another.

My law transcript is finally showing as received (third times the charm). Letter of good standing is still outstanding. I'll ask my registrar to send it again (4th time), if they don't confirm receipt tomorrow.

There is just no way all this mail gets lost. Mail almost never gets lost; it has to be NYU's office; so frustratingfistfullofdollhairs wrote:My law transcript is finally showing as received (third times the charm). All of my required documents are (finally) listed as received on the status checker, but my status still says "application being processed." Does this mean it is complete and ready for review, or does it actually say "complete," or "ready for review" at that point?

Re: NYU Transfer 2016
Under review is ahead of my status. "Application Being Processed" since June 20, 2016 with all required materials received.
I guess I was lucky in the sense that all of my materials were properly sent and received in the first instance without a need to re-send anything.
Now is the dreaded waiting game. . .
Good luck to everyone!!

Re: NYU Transfer 2016
THE HEADACHE CONTINUES.
NYU says my college didnt respond to the academic probation section. I call my college, and they say they dont disclose ANY info regarding that stuff, despite the fact I have a clean record. NYU says they need it. College says nope. Here I am in the middle of a bureaucratic nightmare.
Whats worse is that I have a deadline to commit to another school, and will probably be forced to accept before I even get word from NYU.
GG I guess.

Wow, no wonder they say the transfer process is more stressful. Wishing you luck. Which other school are you contemplating on committing to? And does NYU typically render decisions mid to late July?clshopeful wrote:THE HEADACHE CONTINUES.
