I know that the website says EA is nonbinding on the applicant but is it binding on the school? I heard that the first deposit is due usually before people start their final exams. So if one is admitted in EA and submits their deposit, is GULC bound to take them even if their second semester grades aren't up to par with their first semester? How close will they need to be?

So long as you take at least 3 classes in the spring semester and pass them, then yes you will be taken no matter what your second semester grades are. This is a big part of the appeal to many of EA.iwishyoubestluck wrote:Good point, now I'm wondering the same thing.Elfy wrote:I know that the website says EA is nonbinding on the applicant but is it binding on the school? Ahh I see. Good to know, thanks for the info! Still going to need to focus on killing it this semester nonetheless, now back to this Con Law reading.....EzraFitz wrote:So long as you take at least 3 classes in the spring semester and pass them, then yes you will be taken no matter what your second semester grades are. This *could* be a weight off our shoulders. Any anecdotal evidence on: getting in EA -> doing rather poorly second semester -> attending GULC -> OCI results? Thanks in advance!EzraFitz wrote: So long as you take at least 3 classes in the spring semester and pass them, then yes you will be taken no matter what your second semester grades are. I haven't heard too much, but I know of at least two people who did somewhat less well second semester and did fine at OCI. I don't think they were huge drops in grades, but still less well.EncyclopediaOrange wrote:This *could* be a weight off our shoulders. You found the envelope in your mail at 2am this Monday morning? What about online status checker? What days did it update? I haven't seen an inkling of movement on the status checker online or heard from anyone else who has. Is this for real or a troll? Anyone else hear anything?TransferManiac wrote:Standard envelope in the mail. Top 8% at TT. I'm definitely going. Quite sure this is troll. No one I know has heard anything, and based on posts of past few years, there would definitely be movement on the status checker before actual results come out.Elfy wrote:You found the envelope in your mail at 2am this Monday morning? Does anyone know if the backdoor should be the "Request Password" link or the "Retrieve password" link? I have both pages im just not sure which one is supposed to work. Thanks!

I had my address change and the requirements list disappeared on the status check on Friday. I was also able to retrieve a password through the back door late last night.iwishyoubestluck wrote:Quite sure this is troll. Nah I'm just messing with you guys. Don't get your tutus in a bundle, decisions won't come till end of this week or the next. I'm a rockstar candidate at TTTT. Top 30% but have a PhD. My legal writing teacher wrote in my letter that I was the best writer she's had in 30 years of teaching.
