Submitted my application on 06/15, complete 06/23 - didn't submit the optional essay but addressed why I wanted to be at Michigan in my personal statement

Good luck everyone! Looks like decisions are released right after your application is complete.
Congrats!

Just got accepted....although I'm now concerned with what to do since I got into GULC and ultimately would like to stay in DC. Woe is me I guess.

Does anyone know how transfers do at OCI/EIW and how they are viewed by employers?

Thanks!

Apparently we will all get some networking in with the 1Ls. At Michigan they take Con Law as 2Ls. So it looks like we will be taking legislation and regulation "Leg/Reg" with the first years. Seems pretty useful, I remember my con law prof. saying before we graduate we should take an admin. law class, cause those agencies create law, enforce it, and decide cases. So many will have clients in disputes with these exec. agencies.

Course registration is on 8/13.

People looking for roommates PM me. I'll be bringing a car, but looking to live cheap. There was mention of staying at the Holiday Inn for EIW using a student discount, but I'm thinking it would be cheaper to just start a lease and skip the 7 days in a hotel for EIW and orientation.

Career services has a spreadsheet of all the SA offers transfers received and the # of transfers that accepted offers at each firm in 2012 and 2013. They should have sent it to your Michigan account, but if not ask for the spreadsheet. Transfers overall seem to do just about the same as the rising 2Ls.

I'm surprised that I have not received word regarding the committee's decision. Based on previous posts, I assumed I would have a response the business day following my UR date. Perhaps they've decided to ding me via snail mail.

Sorry to hear, but you have great options at your current school. Somebody should start a transfer Facebook group. I didn't see one yet for our year.

Yikes there are 19 of us competing for 2 spots on MLR. I guess nobody is doing the laid back bluebook only approach of choosing a secondary journal and skipping MLR. May we all have the strength for 10 days of endnoting, and that the 10% odds of MLR are in our favor.

Transfer students please join the FB group, so we know who we are! I apologize for the boring web design, but at least it can't get any worse.
