From what I understand, transfers get to participate in OCI, just not during the week that matters since that deadline for that week passes before Fordham even begins to admit transfers for the Fall. But, I could be wrong.ms2010 wrote:Apparently in the past they didn't let transfers do OCI. That'd be a welcomed change.

Re: Fordham
I spoke with the admission office yesterday about my application being "incomplete". She said they manually look at them to make sure everything is there and then it goes to complete. However, the person who checks is on vacation till next Monday, so nothing will be complete this week.

Re: Fordham
I'm in the middle of my class at Hastings and applied to transfer to Fordham. I was admitted to Fordham off the waitlist last fall, but declined because classes had just started at Hastings. Also, the admissions office is very familiar with my file and I received a personal recommendation from a faculty member at Fordham who I worked with when he was a professor at Hastings. Any thoughts? Also, does anybody know how Fordham goes about using your class ranking since they don't even require it?

Keep holding out. It's still early, dude! Also, I know you said GW wasn't worth the switch, but I definitely disagree. I think it's a great school and if you are able to do well there, it can give you fantastic national reach.ms2010 wrote:Yeah - but those odds aren't looking good!DeliciousCake wrote:This is ridiculous/silly. Also, were you guys emailed rejections? Or status checker? I'm still complete 7/1....

Oh, interesting. I was just basing on what I read from transferapps. That was from a year ago though, so maybe it's different this year. Either way, congrats. I envy you greatly.

Congrats on BU. I got an extension to apply there until August 1st, and have had all my LoRs/etc. sent there, but figured it wasn't worth it, as I am in the top 18%. I wonder if I should now.

Re: Fordham
i posted earlier, but this seems like a better way to get a response. i am trying to gage my chances of getting in. i went to a school thats now ranked in the 80s (ranked in the 60s when i first went), i was in the top third of my class, and i applied to PT at fordham, card., and brooklyn. i was accepted to card. and brooklyn.
when do you all think i should hear? what do you all think my chances are? i went complete on july 6th.

Re: Fordham
from what i heard most people heard back within 2 weeks of going complete. i'm not sure what their procedure is for p/t applicants, but i know someone who applied p/t so i'd be interested to know.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
