Re: Acceptances to UCLA?
Received emails today with information from Career Services and the Admissions Office. I never received a "complete" email.
Top 10% at a T1 ranked 30-50 - class rank is estimated based on last year's numbers. I haven't gotten an official rank yet.
PM me if you want more specificity.
Good luck to those still waiting!

Also a rising 3L transfer to UCLA from a low T2.
Feel free to PM me with any questions/concerns.
Congrats to all those accepted. Transferring to UCLA was well worth it and the administration made it as easy as possible.

Re: Acceptances to UCLA?
Anyone know about UCLA making decisions without receiving a class rank? My school hasn't published rank yet... Will they wait for that information to make a decision or go forward based on just my gpa?

Re: Acceptances to UCLA?
They accepted me w/o school rank. But they are also familiar enough with my school that they probably had a decent idea where I ranked.
Just guessing, but I'd say it depends where you are applying from and how many past applicants they've gotten.

Re: Acceptances to UCLA?
Yeah that's probably safe to say. I'm just worried they deny me thinking I have a lower rank than is true. I'm bad with the curve but I know my schools curve is lower than UCLAs

Re: Acceptances to UCLA?
A friend of mine at another law school was accepted today.
I'm not sure of the stats precisely. Somewhere in the top 10% - probably closer to 10% than 5% - at a mid T1 school.

Re: Acceptances to UCLA?
My deposit is down and I am officially going to UCLA next year. I'll be headed there next week to look for apartments and go to the info session. I look forward to meeting some of you.

Re: Acceptances to UCLA?
am i at a disadvantage for applying right at the deadline? Seems like this process has rolling admissions, but not as intense as regular admissions. is that true?
how many transfer students does UCLA usually accept?

Re: Acceptances to UCLA?
In total they had a transfer class of a little more than 30 last year.
Having received my rejection from Berkeley today, I officially committed to UCLA.
And in a rather weird bit of timing, my school's Registrar emailed me not an hour later asking if I planned to transfer out.
If there are more calls to be made, it would be soon. Most deadlines were sometime this week. Although since the admissions are rolling, everyone I know that received an acceptance had a correspondingly different deadline.

Yeah I'm still hoping for the best but I agree with you that time is running out. I'm thinking there will be one more wave of acceptances since they accepted applications until the 5th.missinglink wrote:If there are more calls to be made, it would be soon.
