Harvard Transfer Waiting Thread 2014 Forum

A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

Seems like HLS is a bit inconsistent. Calls ~1230, email at ~330, status checker ~345.

Did anyone of the people who were accepted still have "Application ready for review" or was it "Under review." Mine is ready for review still.

I do not know why I am nervous. Realistically, i have no shot, but I still find myself refreshing my email like a mad man. I already made a HUGE leap getting into GULC from a T4 and should probably be overly satisfied with that. But I'm not. I really want to get the nod from HLS. Congrats to all thus far. And to all of us still waiting...it aint over til its over. ;)

As shitty as it is, I would accept Harvard and then renege if Yale gave me the acceptance if that's truly where you want to go. It's somewhat unfair for schools to place students in such a position in the first place, so perhaps that's an option for you

Congratulations to all! I didn't get an update so I'm assuming ding. Hopefully NYU and CLS hurry up so I can figure out if I'm living in NYC or DC in a month.
