Trying to transfer into Gtown EA with a 3.65 (approx top 10%) from UC Haastings (#54). Anyone know of my chances?
Looking at past records, I think you should have a pretty good chance.
Good luck !

hope to see you there!

Are deferrals and denials via mail or E-mail? Maybe they are everywhere b.c of soft factors?

I don't think it would make sense to change my program to "full-time" if it were a deferral.

yeah, I think Heming is pretty safe. It may be soft factors. I'm Patent bar elig. and going into patent hopefully. maybe that coulda helped...?
hopefully...?
usually don't to denials so not sure about that. deferrals seem to have come through email in the past. acceptances through mail.

Could be, but from everything I've read- transfer admissions is more of a numbers game then regular admissions. Could be totally wrong, but they don't make a lot of sense.

I've mostly heard that it's all about marketability of transfer student. By this time, the only thing that transfers help the school with is $ and employment stats. if you're more employable, then you're going to be favored.

Strategically and economically It would make sense for them to send out acceptances first (as early as possible) so that they can request their seat deposits as early as possible before regular admission applications/acceptances start going out.
Btw I had an address changed and date change on the same days as everyone else.

Yeah, very odd that so many people's changed and mine didn't. Almost like everyone's changed, and somethings wrong with mine.
CounselorNebby's change? He's like #1 in his class.

So far, the numbers seem pretty encouraging. idk what's the deal with UCC2-207's application though

Last year first update was 3/27. First acceptance letter arrived 4/3. 7 days.
In case anyone cares about more important things, like Nebby getting to skip his BB test if GULC can get acceptance letters in my mailbox next week. I found out that grades count for 60% of my current school's LR, case-note 30%, and BB 10%. So I could still get on w/o taking the BB test.

4/2 Address Change...4/4 Date Change
Top 50
Top5%-10%
PT transferring to FT
Hopefully it's good news for all of us! I'm assuming with this date change they might've put the letters in the mail today?!?!?! I live about 10 minutes from GTOWN so hopefully I can ease the anticipation if there is a letter in my mailbox tomorrow!

I'll still be doing mine for practice. For GTown's competition hopefully.

Hahaha I hope so. I just checked the mailbox now and a letter had my name on it. Too bad it didn't have G-TOWN in the sender's address box.
I'll definitely report back tomorrow when the mail comes.

Is it even possible for transfers to get into GULC's main journal?
